How is exam mode different from a classic MCQ?
A classic MCQ offers 4 options with a single true answer: you are right or wrong. In exam mode, each question has 5 propositions A–E of which one or several are true. You assess each proposition independently, as in the PASS/L.AS exam: a single error — a true proposition missed or a false one ticked — and the question counts as wrong.
How many propositions can be true?
Between one and five. Every generated question has at least one true proposition, and often several: there is no way through by hunting for “the” right answer, you have to judge each proposition one by one. The feedback then shows you the ones you missed.
How is a question graded?
All-or-nothing, like the exam: the question is validated if your ticks match the true propositions exactly, otherwise it counts as wrong. The feedback then details every proposition — Correct, Wrong, Missed (a true one you skipped) or Rightly left out — then explains the question as a whole, so the mistake does not happen again.
Is exam mode free?
A free preview of a few exam-format questions is available on every course you import. The full quiz, with every question generated from your course, requires the Premium plan.
Which subjects does it work for?
Every PASS and L.AS subject: anatomy, biochemistry, cell biology, biophysics, pharmacology, physiology, biostatistics, humanities and social sciences. Questions are generated from your own course, so the content follows exactly what your faculty teaches.
Can I practise on mobile?
Yes: the Revizly mobile app plays exam-format MCQs, with feedback and explanations. Choosing the format (“Quiz format → Exam mode”) is currently done on the website, when creating the course.
