Hydrostatic ødem — mechanism?

Increased capillary permeability due to injury or histamine.

Lymfatisk ødem — cause?

Impaired lymph drainage prevents protein-rich fluid removal.

Onkotisk ødem — cause?

Low blood protein reduces osmotic water retention.

Increases sodium and water reabsorption in kidneys.
